WELCOME TO CHEREMOYA
Since 1915, Cheremoya has been serving the extended Hollywood community—providing a stable, nurturing environment for students as they begin their academic journey and embark on the pathways of critical thought that will define their future. The Cheremoya Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that works directly with the school to build community and raise funds used to enrich the Cheremoya Avenue Elementary school experience.

Author Visits
Cheremoya students got to meet children’s author Julie Fogliano and illustrator Christian Robinson at school last month. Every student (K-2) received a signed copy of their new book "Just in Case You Want to Fly!"
All Cheremoya students attend an author visit event at the school each year supported by the Cheremoya Foundation’s Advanced Literacy Program and the Punk Rock Marthas and the Hollywood United Neighborhood Council. 🙏
